Jesse W. Crone

Jesse W. Crone, 46, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:06 a.m. at IU Health Arnett Hospital. Jesse was born on May 8, 1974 in Lafayette to the late George Jake Crone and Catherine (Deno) Crone Waymire. He married Rachel Collins in 1992, and she survives. Jesse worked as a Supervisor Security Guard for Monon Trailer. He loved the outdoors, hiking, walking trails, running, and gardening. Surviving along with his wife, Rachel Crone, are four children, Jesse C. Crone of Lafayette, Robert Crone of Lafayette, Rachel (Bryan) Hannigan of Lafayette and Monet Crone of Indianapolis. Also surviving are three siblings, Kelly (Peter) Davis of Arizona, Monet (Tony) Hardesty of Lafayette, Bryan (Kayli) Crone of NV, one step-brother, Charlie (Courtney) Waymire of Lafayette, and four grandchildren, Jayden Schultz, Faith Crone, Brikeley Hannigan and Kaylynn Hannigan, his step-father, Wayne Waymire of Delphi, and several nieces and nephews.
